Pauri City : Is situated at an elevation of 1814mts. above sea-level on the northern slopes of Kandoliya hills, Pauri is the headquarter of the district Pauri Garhwal and the Garhwal Division. Pauri provides a panoramic view of the snow clad Himalayan peaks of Bandar Poonch, Swarga-Rohini, Jonli, Gangotri Group, Jogin Group, Thalaiya- sagar, Kedarnath, kharcha Kund, Sumeru, Satopanth, Chaukhamba, Neelkanth, Ghoriparvat, Hathiparvat, Nandadevi & Trisul.

Joshimath – Auli (16 km/ 2 hours drive)

Today morning have breakfast and straight away drive to Auli which is around 16km; one of the major Skiing destinations in Uttarakhand. Set in the snow-capped Garhwal Himalayas, Auli is a great destination for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. To reach Auli, you can also take the 3.9 km long cable car (longest in Asia) to reach the beautiful Auli Ski Resort. On reaching Auli, enjoy skiing with professional instructors present at the site. Stay overnight at Auli Tourist Bungalow.

Uttarakhand is a very interesting place to enjoy rock climbing. As it is having a very huge area. Ganga Valley Adventure organizes Rock Climbing and Rappelling Activities in Rishikesh Uttarakhand, Particular care has been taken in preparing tours that meet the needs of every section of adventure seeker. Safety, Efficiency and High level instruction is a creed with us. Climbing down with a rope is called rappelling, the package includes this and the group is taken to a spot where there is a cliff drop, we have experts with proper equipment who setup the gear first and then one by one everyone comes down .Its all about trusting your gear and following the instructions and then its a lot of fun.
This is something i am sure everyone is familiar with, this is also included in some of the camps but not everyone can do it as it requires a lot of strength and skill. The group is take to a cliff side and with proper safety gear everyone is given a chance to climb the cliff side.
